Legal Requirement

Under the Zambia Institute of Architects Act, Chapter 442 of the Laws of Zambia, only persons registered with ZIA may legally practise architecture, hold themselves out as architects, or be a partner in a firm offering architectural services. Practising without registration is an offence and may result in a fine and/or imprisonment.
